  • Philippe I, 1st Duke of Orléans (1640 – 1701) "Monsieur". Duke of Anjou, later Duke of Orléans, of Chartres, of Valois, of Nemours and of Montpensier and Pair de France, Prince of Joinville and de La Roche-sur-Yon.  Married firstly Henrietta of England (1644 – 1670) daughter of King Charles I of England, Scotland and Ireland and secondly Elisabeth Charlotte of the Palatine (1652 –1722) nicknamed "Lieselotte", daughter of Charles I Louis, Elector Palatine.
