Mary Howard nee Mordaunt, 7th Baroness Mordaunt, Duchess of Norfolk, Lady Germain (c. 1659–1705), daughter of 2nd Earl of Peterborough. Married firstly Henry Howard, 7th Duke of Norfolk KG (1655-1701), from whom she was divorced in 1700 and secondly Sir John Germain, 1st Baronet of Westminster (1650–1718) (thought to have been an illegitimate brother of William of Orange). Sir John married secondly Lady Elizabeth Berkeley (1680-1769), daughter of Charles Berkeley, 2nd Earl of Berkeley. On her death she left the Drayton estate to George Germain, 1st Viscount Sackville (1716–1785), third son of Lionel Sackville, 1st Duke of Dorset and previously Lord George Sackville.
