Magnus Birgersson (1240–1290), usually called Magnus Ladulås

  • Magnus Birgersson (1240–1290), usually called Magnus Ladulås, King of Sweden from 1275 until his death in 1290.
  • Magnus IV (1316  –1374) King of Sweden (including Finland) from 1319 to 1364, King of Norway as Magnus VII (including Iceland and Greenland) from 1319 to 1343, and ruler of Scania from 1332 to 1360.

House of Mecklenburg 1364-1389

Kalmar Union
1389-1521

It was a personal union that joined under a single monarch the three kingdoms of Denmark, Sweden (then including Finland), and Norway.

  • Gustav I (1496 – 1560) King of Sweden from 1523, born Gustav Eriksson of the Vasa noble family and later known as Gustav Vasa
  • Eric XIV (1533 –1577) King of Sweden from 1560 until he was deposed in 1568.
  • John III (1537 – 1592) King of Sweden from 1568.
  • Sigismund III Vasa (1566 – 1632) King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania from 1587 to 1632, and King of Sweden from 1592 until he was deposed in 1599.

  • Charles XII (1682 –1718) King of Sweden and Duke of Zweibrücken
  • Ulrika Eleonora (1688 – 1741) Queen regnant of Sweden from 1718 to 29 February 1720, married Frederick I (1676 – 1751) Landgrave of Hesse-Kassel and resigned in his favour.
